I became a member of Thundersley Christian Spiritualist church many years ago when it was a lovely wooden hut. At that time, I came for healing, desperately seeking help to start a family. It worked and I was blessed with a son and daughter. I now also have three stepdaughters, 14 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. I have been married to David for 40 years this year.
All my life I have been passionate about Arts & Crafts. I had a business making soft toys, called ‘Loving Care’. My daughter became a professional dancer, so for many years I was sewing costumes and making huge paper mâché stage props. I worked several years teaching Arts, Crafts and Sewing to adults with learning disabilities at Artability day centre.
I was first attuned to Reiki in 2006. Reiki 2 and Master levels followed. I love working with the healing energy and use healing crystals for chakra balancing.
I was a volunteer at Little Haven’s children’s hospice for a year. In those days they didn’t believe in Reiki, but I was able to discretely use it to calm distressed children with amazing results!
I have my own unique craft business ‘Inspired DesignZ’. All gifts and keepsakes are made with love and charged with Reiki energy. Spiritual themes and healing crystals are very popular. I love how my creations bring joy and can help people on their healing journeys.
I feel I have been guided by spirit to return to this wonderful church and as soon as I walked through the doors, I was made to feel so welcome, the energy is amazing, and I am so happy to be a part of this committee. I have come full circle, feels like home and I am proud to serve this wonderful church and its community, with love and light xxx
